D & E Alarm Company, Inc. has been serving Bedford County and the Middle Tennessee area since 1978. The company was founded by the late Eldon McGee of Shelbyville, a carpenter and contractor, and his son David McGee also of Shelbyville under the name D & E Security Systems. The company was later incorporated under the name that it is known as today; D & E Alarm Company, Inc. In the beginning the company's primary focus was providing customers with installed burglar/intrusion alarm systems, and since then has expanded to offer a variety of electronic detection systems such as burglar/intrusion alarm systems, video surveillance systems, and access control systems. We also sell and install computer patch panels, data comm solutions, home automation equipment as well as sound systems and other communications components such as intercom and telephone equipment. Offering only the latest equipment available by the electronic security industry, we provide our customers with professional installation and monitoring services as well as quality customer service on a very personal level. We are a licensed and insured Alarm Systems Contractor with the Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance and is the only Licensed Alarm Systems Contractor in Bedford County.
